Poetry Audio Book

So so so excited to share that my first poetry book, “How I Learned to Learn New Things”, has been recorded as a audiobook by veteran narrator Michael Kramer!!

Michael is an accomplished and award winning narrator with 90+ credits under his belt, including MY favorite Brandon Sanderson series – Mistborn & The Stormlight Archive.

What started as a random tweet turned into an amazing experience working with both Michael Kramer, Kate Reading, and producer Erik Synnestvedt.

Below is the link where you can purchase the audiobook via Awesound! Treat yourself to Michael’s amazing narration of poems incredibly important and personal to me.

New Chapbook Draft

Finished working on a new chapbook draft as I continue editing what I hope will be a full length collection. Here are some poems from the new project.

                                                                                                                                           no

                                              exuberant

VI (with eyes closed)

eyes closed.
there, in the world around you
a leaf floating
caught in deep currents.
willfully entangled
with opportunity in every push
from the unseen. you
break, again, the surface
and see.

IX (today)

there are those days
when I am a pillar,
a column; a statue.

          unmovable.

and others when i
am simply lost to the wind.

perhaps today is
one of those days
where the most solid

          thing about me is my
ability to be moved
by the breeze.
